It was a very difficult day, as I finally made the decision that it was time for my beloved Beagle to leave this world. Her last days were not her best, and the Vet confirmed that our choice to have her put to sleep was entirely appropriate. She faded away in my arms, and I will miss her tremendously.
Rest in peace Sami, you were a wonderful dog, and a great friend for over 15 years.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about Sammy. As a former Beagle owner, I know that they can leave a huge whole in your heart. Grief is the price we pay for all the love we have revcieved. Cry when you must, and remember the good times too.
ReplyDeleteYour loss of Sammy is so sad. When My husband lost his cat of many years, I found a picture we had taken of her, and I framed it and put it on his dresser. He said it brought him comfort and sweet memories. I hope, after the saddness has past you can smile at all the memories you have of Sammy.

ReplyDeleteWe were so sad to hear of Sami's passing. It's always hard when you have to put a beloved pet down. We have had to put several down and it is never easy especially when you see the light fade from their eyes. Just remember all the wonderful adventures you had with Sami and know that she is waiting at the Rainbow bridge.
