I can count on one hand, the number of friends houses', where we have visited & parked our motor home. To us, these places are RV Resorts, because not only do we have a place to park, but we have wonderful friends, or family, to visit with. We started this trip with a stop in our old hometown, Jamestown, CA. The East RV Resort (Everett & Lori), was our parking spot for a few days, while we took care of our annual medical visits.
Yesterday, we drove from the Wal Mart in LaGrande, OR, to Enterprise, where Bob & Diana Rush have built a beautiful home on several acres. Diana's daughter Lisa, her husband Phil, and twin grandchildren, Tristan & Jordan (age 6), are also here on vacation. Bob & Brenda Nelson are due to arrive today, so the Rush house will be bursting at the seams. This part of eastern OR, and specifically this valley, is so beautiful in the summer months. Probably a little too cold for me in the winter, but right now, the temps are in the 80's, and everything is green, green, green! Bob & Diana spend a lot of time taking care of their property, and it shows. We spent the evening outside around the fire pit, and enjoyed the conversation and company. Today, Sami goes to the VET, for yet another cyst removal on her left ear. This poor dog grows these wart like things, like a farmer grows a crop.
