This morning, when I fire up the Cummins engine in the motor home, we'll be heading for the fairgrounds in Indio, CA where the Family Motor Coach Ass'n (FMCA) is staging their western states RV rally. We'll be in Indio for a week, returning home next Sunday. It's about a 4 hour drive, so we're not in any big hurry to get going this morning.
We'll be meeting about 20 other RV's from the FMCA Golden Spike Chapter at the WalMart in LaQuinta later today, and we'll go into the fairgrounds tomorrow as one group. As RV rallies go, this one is on a larger scale, with hundreds, if not a thousand or more RV's parked at the fairgrounds. There will be the usual stuff like vendors, seminars, nightly entertainment, parade, chapter fair, and an ice cream social (yahoo!) that our Golden Spike Chapter is in charge of. Mixed in with the activities at the rally will be some off site things like a ride on the Palm Springs Tram. Should be a fun week.

Safe travels...it is really windy here in Bullhead City, hopefully not too bad where you guys are heading.
