DINNER WITH DAVE

Working the night shift in the E.R. at Memorial Hospital in Modesto, Patty's son David, sleeps, or tries to sleep during the daytime.  We made arrangements to meet him, and his girlfriend Ann, at a restaurant in Turlock yesterday evening.  We had dinner at Dust Bowl Brewing Co. and it was a nice visit with the both of them.  They had just returned from a week in the Caribbean, vacationing on the island of Antigua.  Patty and I were lobbying pretty hard to get them to visit us over the Thanksgiving Holiday, when my two boys will both be together in Tucson.  I think it's been something like 15-20 years since we've had all 3 boys in one place at the same time.

Today is our last day parked at the Kissack Kastle, and we'll be spending most of the day in the Sonora/Jamestown area visiting with friends.  Tomorrow, we're headed for the Grass Valley Fairgrounds, where we'll be meeting with about 30 of our friends in the Golden Spike RV chapter.  We'll be there through Sunday for a rally, then it'll be northbound for the last frontier, with lots of stops along the way.
