WATSON LAKE, YUKON TO CARCROSS, YUKON

The drive from Watson Lake to Carcross was about 250 miles, and the farther north we get, the better the scenery gets.  I decided to stop in Carcross, which is about 60 miles from Skagway, because I needed to check out our options for parking the motor homes, once we get to our old summer hometown.  The RV park in Carcross is in need of some serious work, no TV, no Internet, but at least we had a 30 amp outlet to plug into.

We drove the Jeep into Skagway this morning, and said hi to several old friends.  We also found that our old employer,  Nancy & Dennis Corrington had followed through with arrangements for us to park our motor homes on their property, where we'll have full hookups.

I'm posting this from the Skagway Library, and am running short of time, so.......take a look at the pictures from yesterday, and more tomorrow.

This black bear was on the Tagish/Carcross road between Jakes Corner & Carcross.
