LEAVING LONG BEACH

Today is a travel day, from the WA Coast, to Central OR, and back to the Bend/Sunriver Thousand Trails. This will be one of the longest drives we've had in awhile, but, even so, it's only a little over 200 miles to our destination. So, we're getting an earlier than our usual mid to late morning start, so that we can arrive in time to pick a suitable parking spot, and get to the post office, where our forwarded mail is waiting. We have enjoyed these last 2 weeks on the WA Coast, where the lower temperatures (mid 60's) have been more to my liking, than to Patty's. The forecast for Central OR should be more in line with Patty's ideal weather, with temps in the 80's and 90's. Yesterday was a housecleaning day, with not much else to talk about.
