When we returned home from our summer trip to Alaska, the motor home was parked in front of the house, away from the area where the metal building would eventually be located. In the last 2+ months, I built a retaining wall in order to create more space, and in that same area, just finished the two foundations for the metal shade cover. Yesterday, I extended the electrical & water lines, then graded and leveled the parking area between the concrete footings. Since it looks like several more weeks before the building gets delivered, I decided to move the motor home away from the front of the house, and relocated it into the space that will be it's permanent parking place.
In a telephone conversation with Coast to Coast Carports yesterday, they said that they had several jobs in Arizona ready to go, but they were waiting on materials to arrive in Arkansas. Based on that information, I'm going to be very surprised if this thing gets delivered before the end of the year.
Everything is in place, except the building.
I really enjly your blog. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteI was wondering why you chose not to pour a slab to park on?
I still have some underground work to do, then possibly a concrete floor somewhere in the future.
