Yesterday was Patty's travel day from Paris to San Francisco. Today, she boards a flight from S.F. to Las Vegas, where the Havasu shuttle will drive her home. Lots of miles in just a couple of days, but by tomorrow afternoon, she'll be here at the canyon, and in the motor home for the summer.
Later this morning, Sami and I will drive to Lake Havasu, where I'm sure it will be a whirlwind of activity, as Patty makes the transition from world traveler, to a summer workamper at the Grand Canyon. Gracie told me she doesn't want to leave, so her job for the next 24 hours, is to be an attack cat, guarding the motor home against unwanted intruders.
No blog post tomorrow morning, as I'm not taking the laptop on this quick trip, and we've already suspended our phone & DSL at the house.
