IT'S A MUCKLESHOOT

After I picked up our mail at the LaConner, WA Post Office, we pulled out of the LaConner Thousand Trails, and headed for the Fred Meyer Store in Burlington, for about 60 gallons of diesel. With the rewards discount, the price was $3.02 per gallon. With full fuel & water tanks, and empty holding tanks, we headed south on I-5, toward Pacific Raceways, near Auburn, WA. It was only about 100 miles, so we arrived at our destination about mid-day. The picture shows us parked at the Muckleshoot Casino, which will be home for the next few days. They have a 3 day policy for RV parking, but security told us to just check in with them, if we need more than 3 days. We spent a few hours at the track with our friends, Bob & Shirl Kase, who manage the Lucas Oil Merchandise trailer. We all shed a few tears for the recent loss of their beloved Beagle, Hunter. Due to meningitis, they had to have him put to sleep in Norwalk, OH., and it's a difficult time for them. We shared some stories about our 2 Beagles, and we will be heading back to the track with Sami, to spend some more time today with Bob & Shirl, and our other friends.
