SUTTON, AK TO TOK, AK

We pulled into Tok, Alaska, about mid afternoon, after covering a little over 200 miles.  First stop was for fuel, our last fill up in Alaska before traveling south through Canada.  With the tanks full of diesel @ $4.43 a gallon, our next stop was Tok RV Village, our home for two nights.  Tomorrow morning, we'll be picking up our forwarded mail, then it's several days of driving southbound through Canada.  Without any further issues, it'll take 5-7 days for us to reach the northern U.S. Border.

The motor home windshield is scheduled to be replaced in Coburg, OR, on July 24th, 10 days from now.  Both of the rigs will need to be serviced by the time we get there, and we both have a few minor things that need to be repaired.  The long range plan is to get everything fixed, including my teeth, then stay in OR & WA for awhile, at least until the weather cools a bit in Arizona.   We'll see how it all goes..............

Tok RV Village, Tok, AK $43.43  Cumulative RV Park totals - $1,307.50
Diesel - Tok Shell  63.0 Gals @ $4.43 = $279.29  Cumulative fuel cost - $3,275.68
MPG - 7.6  Cumulative Avg. MPG - 7.9
Miles traveled - 218  Cumulative miles - 5,776

  1. Eat at Eddie's. Great food. At least that was the way it was in 2009. Thanks for sharing your travels. I relived our trip.
