Patty and I are both pleased with the new awning, covering the new cement, in front of the new (to us) house. Lots of "new things" around here, as we move forward on getting the new property to where we want it. Still lots of new stuff to do!
Yesterday, another trip to Home Depot (I should buy stock), where I picked up the second batch of insulation, and drywall. I'm within 10' of finishing the south wall of the garage, and today, I'll start insulating, and hanging sheet rock on the northeast corner, where my workbenches, and tools will eventually be located.
Marc and Laila came buy in the afternoon, and she and Grandma started some sort of cookie project, while Marc fine tuned the electronics under the new TV. He installed a new cable, an FM antenna, and figured out why the bass speaker hasn't worked properly, in the 10 years that we've had the system. Let's just say that there was nothing wrong with the equipment, that operator error, just might have been part of the equation. Bottom line is that it now works, and after Marc transferred inputs from the Sanyo remote, to the DISH remote, the system is now running on all cylinders for the first time in a decade!
It looks like Gracie was somehow involved in the "cookie project"
The wind that has been blowing for the last 24 hours is supposed to die down today, with the temperature back up over 70 degrees tomorrow. This is the time of year when I'm glad we're in Arizona, and not someplace where it's raining and/or snowing.
Really nice front porch!!!! I think Gracie was just waiting for the cookies to hit the cooling rack!!!! Merry Christmas to your entire family!!!
