DUSTING THE COBWEBS

Yesterday afternoon, we stopped by Bob & Diana Rush's house for a visit, as they continue to do home improvement projects on their new winter home. Diana, yes I said Diana, had just finished putting a coat of grey concrete paint on their patio, and it looked great! Bob likes to say that he has a painter in the family.

While we were there, Bob showed me an obvious water stain in the sheet rock roof of their garage. A little later, the plumber they had called showed up, cut a hole in the ceiling, and sure enough, a copper pipe joint was dripping down onto the sheet rock. Just before we left, the repair was almost finished.

We made plans to go for a motorcycle ride today, and got a tip from the plumber that the Mexican Restaurant at the Bluewater Casino in Parker had great food. Bob & Diana arrived from Oregon before Christmas, and we've been talking about going for a ride, but with their relatives here for the holidays, and our travels to Tucson for Christmas, we haven't found the time. The weather has been ideal, with today's temperature supposed to be in the mid 70's, and a bright sunny sky. I think today is the perfect time to dust some of the cobwebs off the Harley, and go out and catch some wind.

  1. We stopped several times at the Bluewater Casino to eat at the buffet and the food was not all that great...hope the Mexican Restaurant is better!

    Have a great ride!
